Hi, I’m Anouk Grootjans. A Dutch graphic designer based in Barcelona, working with entrepreneurs in the Netherlands and Spain. I came here for an internship in 2014, fell in love with the city and never left.
With over five years of experience and a long list of happy clients, I’ve learned what really makes a brand work. It’s not one beautiful logo. It’s consistency: a visual story that holds together across your website, your social media, your tone of voice and everything in between. That’s exactly what I deliver.
When you work with me, you work with me. No agency layers, no account managers, no designer you’ve never spoken to. I brainstorm with you, design everything myself, guide the design process and keep a lifelong database of all your files. Need that logo from three years ago in a different format? One email and it’s sorted.
And yes, I know AI can generate a design in seconds. I use AI myself to work faster and smarter. But here’s the catch: AI rarely sticks to the rules of your brand identity. Every output looks slightly different, with colours that are just off, fonts that don’t match and a style that keeps shifting. Before you know it, your brand is a collection of loose ends, stretched in every direction.
My job is to keep that consistency under control: I guard your brand guidelines in every design, and in the tools you work with yourself, whether that’s Canva, Claude or another system. So everything you put out into the world is recognisably yours.
Besides my studio I also run Postalona, my own postcard brand here in Barcelona. It keeps me on the other side of the table too: as an entrepreneur making the same branding and webshop decisions my clients face every day.
